NGTest Academy Refund policy

This is the refund and cancellation policy of NGTest Academy. It covers money paid to NGTest Academy through its Pitch Uno pages, including registration and program fees, event and tournament fees, and shop orders.

It does not cover money paid to another organisation, or money paid directly to a third party rather than to NGTest Academy.

Where a single event or program publishes its own cancellation terms, those terms apply to that event or program in addition to this policy.

To cancel a registration or withdraw from a program, contact NGTest Academy using the details on this page. A cancellation is not complete until NGTest Academy has confirmed it in writing, so keep that confirmation.

The club decides what is refunded when a registration is cancelled. The decision usually depends on when the cancellation happens and what the club has already committed to pay on the participant's behalf, such as competition entry fees, uniform orders or facility bookings.

Where NGTest Academy publishes a cut off date or a refund position for a program, it is set out in the club's own information. If you are not sure what applies to you, ask before you pay.

If NGTest Academy cancels an activity and does not reschedule it, the fee paid for that activity is refunded.

Where an activity is rescheduled, the place carries over to the new date rather than being refunded. If the new date does not suit, ask NGTest Academy what it can do.

A single session lost to weather, an unplayable ground or a similar interruption is normally rescheduled or replaced rather than refunded, because the season is the thing that was paid for rather than an individual session.

A place in a tournament or a one off event is usually held for a named participant, and the club often pays entry fees and books facilities on that basis.

Whether a withdrawal from an event can be refunded therefore depends on how close to the event the withdrawal happens and on what has already been committed. Ask NGTest Academy as early as you can.

If an event is cancelled outright and is not rescheduled, the entry fee is refunded.

Clothing and equipment is normally made or ordered in specifically, so it may not be possible to cancel an order once NGTest Academy has placed it with its supplier.

An item that arrives damaged, faulty or different from what was ordered is replaced or refunded. Tell NGTest Academy as soon as you notice, and keep the item and its packaging until you are told what to do with them.

An item that has been worn, used or personalised cannot normally be returned unless it is faulty.

A refund is paid back to the person who paid, using the same method and the same currency.

Where the original payment was made by card, the money goes back to that card. The refund is issued against the payment, so it is not possible to send it somewhere else.

An agreed refund is processed promptly once NGTest Academy has confirmed it. NGTest Academy will tell you when it has been actioned, and your bank may then take a few more days to show it on your statement.

Fees charged by a payment provider are not something NGTest Academy controls, so the amount that arrives may differ from the amount paid where a provider fee applied.

Nothing in this policy is intended to take away a right or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including a right that applies to a person dealing with a business as a consumer.

Where this policy and a right that cannot be excluded differ, that right applies and this policy is read down to the extent needed.
