NGTest Academy Terms of service

These are the terms on which NGTest Academy provides its activities, registrations and pages through Pitch Uno. They apply to anyone who registers, pays, attends or uses any part of what NGTest Academy offers.

Where a particular program, event or competition publishes its own terms, those terms apply to that activity in addition to these. Where the two differ about the activity itself, the activity's own terms apply.

Information given while registering should be accurate and kept up to date. NGTest Academy relies on it to place participants, to contact a family in an emergency and to meet its own obligations.

• •A parent or guardian registers a participant under 18 on that participant's behalf, and accepts these terms for them.
• •An account is for the person it was created for and should not be shared. Sign in details should be kept private.
• •A participant should be registered under their own legal name, so records and any insurance or competition entry match.
• •Tell NGTest Academy promptly if something you registered changes, including a change of contact details or a change in a participant's circumstances.

A fee for a program, session, event or product is shown when it is booked or ordered, and that is the amount owed.

Card payments are processed by NGTest Academy through its own payment provider. NGTest Academy does not receive or store card details, and how payment information is handled is described in the club's privacy policy.

• •NGTest Academy may change a fee for a future period, and does not change a fee already agreed and paid for a period that has already started.
• •A place may be released if a fee is not paid by the date NGTest Academy sets.
• •Ask NGTest Academy if you need an arrangement rather than letting a payment go unpaid, because a club would usually rather agree something than remove a participant.

Cancellations, withdrawals and refunds are covered by the club's refund policy, which forms part of these terms and is published alongside them on this website.

Participants, families, coaches, volunteers, officials and spectators are expected to behave safely and considerately towards everyone at an activity.

NGTest Academy may set additional rules for a particular activity, venue or competition, and may pass on a requirement imposed by a league or a venue.

• •Abuse, threats, discrimination and physical aggression are not acceptable at any club activity, including from the sideline.
• •Instructions from a coach, an official or a venue about safety should be followed.
• •NGTest Academy may end a participation where behaviour is unsafe, threatening or repeatedly disruptive. Where it does, it will explain the reason in writing and tell the participant or their parent or guardian how to ask for a review.

Soccer is a physical sport and carries an inherent risk of injury. NGTest Academy takes reasonable care in how it runs its activities, arranges coaching and manages its venues. A participant takes part knowing that a risk of injury exists in any contact sport.

A participant or their parent or guardian should tell NGTest Academy about anything that affects how the participant takes part, including a medical condition, a recent injury, an allergy or medication that a coach may need to know about, so NGTest Academy can respond if something happens.

This section does not reduce any duty of care NGTest Academy has, and does not take away any right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

NGTest Academy may take photographs or video at an activity, and may use them for club purposes such as a match report, a newsletter or a club page.

Where an image shows a participant in a way that identifies them, NGTest Academy asks before using it beyond the activity itself. A participant, or a parent or guardian of a participant under 18, can ask NGTest Academy to stop using an image at any time, and NGTest Academy will stop.

Tell NGTest Academy if you do not want a participant photographed or filmed at all, and NGTest Academy will record that and respect it.

How personal information is collected, used, shared and protected is set out in the club's privacy policy, which forms part of these terms and is published alongside them on this website.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right or a remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including a right that applies to a person dealing with a business as a consumer.

To the extent the law allows, NGTest Academy is not responsible for a loss that is indirect or consequential, such as a loss of opportunity arising from an activity that had to be cancelled. What is refunded when an activity is cancelled is set out in the club's refund policy.

A participant is responsible for their own equipment and belongings brought to an activity.

NGTest Academy may update these terms. The version published on this page is the current one, and the date it was last changed is shown on this page.

A change applies from the date it is published. A change does not alter a fee already agreed and paid for a period that has already started, unless the person it affects agrees to the change.

If you use the club's own website or email address for this, that is fine. It is the same club.
